Subject: | [amigactive] Gfx programs not working |
Hello,
Since I upgraded to BVision and Cybergraphx I'm having trouble using
some gfx programs.
*PersonalPaint 7.1 and DPaint IV* work very erratically, despite PPpaint stating
that is Cybergraphx compatible. The updates are very slow, the pointer
goes funny from time to time, the icons and menus don't always work and I
get some lockups.
*ImageFX 1.51* seems to lock up and start again when saving jpegs. During
the saving of one file it does this 5 or more times. Sometimes it just
crashes. This apart from not showing the preview screen, just the toolbar
at the top of the screen.
I know I should buy the new version, but it's too expensive for now,so
I'd like to continue to use this version,if possible.
*Photogenics1.2a* is more stable, but sometimes locks up when I try to quit.
To sum it up,all my gfx-related stuff is behaving badly. Not very
nice,indeed.
What might be causing this? A faulty library or something?
Can I do something apart from buying new versions/software?
I'm using OS 3.9 and DOpus II Magellan on a Blizzard 040/PPC,by the way.
Bye,
Nuno
